This Buffalo chicken recipe features tender chicken breasts marinated in a zesty buffalo sauce, offering the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. Grilled to perfection, it’s an easy dish that’s packed with flavor and perfect for any weeknight dinner or game day gathering.
Ingredients
2–3 chicken breasts pounded thin (approx. 1 pound)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup Frank’s hot WINGS Sauce or Frank’s ORIGINAL Hot Sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
reserved marinade
1 tablespoon honey for glaze
1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice for glaze
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together Frank’s hot sauce, honey, lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and ensure the chicken is well-coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with 1 tablespoon of olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the used marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While grilling, prepare the buffalo glaze by mixing reserved marinade with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 1/2 teaspoons of lime juice in a small bowl.
- Once chicken is cooked, brush the buffalo glaze over the chicken pieces before serving.

Notes
For extra heat, use Frank’s hot WINGS Sauce; for a milder flavor, opt for Frank’s ORIGINAL Hot Sauce. Adjust the sweetness in the glaze by adding more or less honey based on preference.
